What resources must my organization provide?

In order to start a pack, your organization must provide:

  1. An organizing committee of at least three adults (one of whom must be a member of your organization)
  2. Facilities where the unit can hold its monthly pack meeting.

Once the pack is organized and dens are formed, you will need to recruit and select adult leaders to administer the program—a Cubmaster, an assistant Cubmaster, and a den leader and assistant den leader for each den.

There are a number of individuals in your BSA local coucnil service center who can assist you in recruiting these leaders and obtaining any other resources the pack will need, as well as providing ongoing support once the pack has been established.
